Of course the ghosts struggle against it, so their movement has to be countered with the analogue stick. The basic procedure is always the same: Luigi has to stun the ghosts with the flashlight (in contrast to the predecessor, now the position and angle is important) so he can vacuum them in.

Luigi's weapon of choice is vacuum device called PolterGust 5000 which is used to fight against the numerous ghost enemies. Luigi is hired by the eccentric professor Gadd to visit five haunted mansions to retrieve the Dark Moon parts. This time he visits Evershade Valley, where the destruction of the Dark Moon caused all ghosts to become hostile to humans. You can also see the trail of something that just left the Lab, so follow it on down the Common Hall. After the happenings of Luigi's Mansion, Luigi once again has to put on his ghostbusting gear. Like the Weapon and Shield Greenie, this guy is immune to flashes, but not immune to using your Poltergust to suck it right of his face! Yank off the glasses and suck them up like a normal Greenie, then equip your new Darklight! Test it out by shining it on the invisible door, then suck up the Spirit Balls to make it permanent. The Darklight is on the far side of the Lab, but reaching it will cause a new kind of Greenie to emerge, the Glasses Greenie. The way up the stairs will once again be a trap as several Hiders ambush you, along with a Slammer, use caution when tackling them all at the same time, and move up to the second floor Master Hall, and then onto the Parlor.Ī Boo will once again cause something to disappear, but this time dousing the flames in the fireplace, allowing you access to the Lab.

Money Spot - Once you have the Dark-Light, go to the end of the hall and illuminate the dresser located under the window, open it to pocket a nice wad of cash! Foyer
